Welcoming your students to the Université Paris-Dauphine Important information on accommodation issue

Facilitating the access to housing is a priority for our university.

In order to improve its housing support, the university is introducing a new service for exchange students staying for one semester or for the full academic year.

Students wishing to benefit from this personalized support must pay a 180.00€ fee to “Dauphine Housing”. This new scheme will be implemented in May 2019 and is not mandatory.

Each student who decides to apply for this service will have a dedicated contact before and throughout the exchange program. Dauphine Housing offers:

• a catalogue presenting the different residences;
• a housing certificate to facilitate the visa application process;
• advice on housing insurance and subscription of a rental deposit;
• assistance in opening a bank account in France;
• information on possible financial aids (CAF) and their application procedures.

Each student will receive an email from Université Paris-Dauphine Housing Services to find out whether he/she wishes to access a Paris-Dauphine’s partner student residence.

Note :

In January 2019, all the incoming students who requested a student residence have been accommodated. We are committed to continuing our efforts, however subject to the availability of accommodation and compliance with the application deadlines. By paying this lump-sum though, there is no guarantee that accommodation will be provided.

Information importante relative à la recherche de logement

L’accès facilité au logement est une priorité de notre Université.

Dans la perspective d’améliorer son accompagnement au logement, l’Université met en place un nouveau service proposé aux étudiants en échange, que ce soit pour un semestre ou pour l’année universitaire.

Pour pouvoir bénéficier de cet accompagnement personnalisé, les étudiants en échange qui en feront la demande devront s’acquitter de la somme forfaitaire de 180,00€ auprès de la société « Dauphine Housing ». Ce nouveau dispositif sera mis en place dès le mois de mai 2019. Il n’est pas obligatoire.

Chaque étudiant qui en fera la demande aura accès à un interlocuteur unique en amont et tout au long de la mobilité. Le service d’accompagnement au logement propose :

• un catalogue proposant différentes résidences accessibles ;
• une attestation facilitant les démarches d’obtention de visa ;
• des conseils relatifs à l’assurance logement et à la souscription d’une caution locative ;
• l’aide à l’ouverture d’un compte bancaire en France ;
• des informations sur les différentes aides au logement (CAF) et leurs procédures d’obtention.

Chaque étudiant sera contacté individuellement et par voie électronique par le Service Logement de l’Université Paris-Dauphine afin de savoir s’il souhaite ou non accéder à l’une des résidences étudiantes partenaires de Paris-Dauphine.

Remarque :

L’intégralité des étudiants accueillis dans notre Université au mois de janvier 2019 ont été logés, pour ceux qui en avaient fait la demande. Nous nous engageons à poursuivre nos efforts, sous réserve bien entendu des disponibilités en logements et du respect des délais imposés. Veuillez noter cependant que ces frais ne garantissent pas l’obtention d’un logement
